well i got down there to pick the car up the guy said Yea it can make it back on its own. Well looked at it and drove it. He said there was a exhaust leak on the turbo no big deal right well the whole exhaust manifold gasket is shot. The engine has been leaking oil just the vavle cover gaskets no big deal right. Well no one has aperantlly check the oil for awhile because there was maybe 2 mm of oil on the tip if the dipstick. The antifreze was half empty. Then the speedo was out with the temp. gauge, along with a few other small things. Well theres was know way i was gonna try to drive it back but I got a deal going where I still bought the car but he is gonna tow it up here. The car is in decent shape all the electrical is working great except the speedo and temp., the interior is rough but i plan on gutting it, the exterior is decent needs a few small dents popped then paint but no rust or major body work. Plus he threw in a few odd an ins like a new hks mhg, new metal exhaust mainfold gasket, a racing harness and he also had a block for the engine, and a set of wheels he threw in.

I guess this is what happens when you buy off ebay, but when its all fixed up she gonna be a beast.

Hey nothing beats that first wash and wax. Well, yes it does, but that makes it feel like it is mine. Black is always beautiful on a Supra. I see leaves in the cowl. It was sitting for a while. So that isnt so bad. I also noticed no rust on the shock tower. So is it clean rust wise?

but when its all fixed up she gonna be a beast. And that is all that matters.

Round trip 7 including the plane changes. But to be completely honest, I also came home to watch Episode III Revenge of the Sith. And buy the Supra.

yea i haven't seen any rust on the body what so ever and its been a missouri so someone at one point took good care of it. The guy i bought it from said the exhaust manifold gasket was bad so there wasn't enough pressure to spool the turbo and he let it sit for alittle while he was buying parts for it and got in money problems. So i got the car and a few parts for it.

Just ran the compression test and i have a dead cylinder. The rest of them were about 125 which seems low to me but i dont know a whole lot about these engines. Well time to get the digital camera out and start taking pictures and taking the enigne apart.

you can take that thing apart and have it all sprawled out with pics to boot and never find what the **** you are looking to fix. jesus! if you aren't a mechanic now...., you bloody hell will be. no one but the people that drive these cars wants to work on them. your engine is in a 90 model you say??? from missourri??? was it parked in a ****ing chicken house or a barn??? do your self a favor and get a toyota supra repair manual and a ****ing chilton. I thought i got bent over. someone repainted the outside and thrashed the engine. I will say that the body looks nice. My 91 has it's own set of issues and with all that's wrong with it..., it is still bad ass. you are going to love and hate the car before you are even thinking of being done. if you wanted a 3000$ car that you can spend another 10,000$ on to make sharp...., you found her. I wish you all the luck in the world mr. warbucks

that car looks pretty nice on the outside. the engine bay just looks like they all do, considering its all stock, no one worked on it and its as old as it is. if you could drive it at Least 20 miles, its worth over $1000. considering the exterior appears to be in good shape, the extras you got with it and such, i would gladly pay $3000ish for it. hell, my ex paid $2500 for her 89 turbo with a BHG and melted #5 piston... course the interior was almost mint and it had fresh red paint.

good find man, black supras Represent! Powder blue is ghey! ;)

im not jealous of a car that is the same color as the eye shadow that the fat-cow "Mimi" wears in that Drew Carey show... ewww... if my car was associated in any way, shape, or form to that behemoth, id sell it or paint it. ;)

and its not jealousy, you have me mistaken. this is Me :10: I wear my sunglasses at night because the sun never sets on a bad-ass.
