Yeah me and my friend both have 1j motors and we were looking for engine rebuil kits. I just checked horsepowerfreaks.com and wanted to know if we buy two kits could we get a discount on the shipping cost?

Are you a local Hawaiian/white person hater or otherwise?

To those of you that haven't been out here to HI and think I sound like an asshole, after being here for 3 1/2 years you'd know exactly why I'm asking this question. Racism is accepted here. Kamehameha High School is for Hawaiians only. A high school that only accepts one race-yes, they have that here. I know a graduate from there and she said that's how it is because "those were her wishes," speaking of the former "Queen" of HI or whatever. Where are the liberal crybabies now?

Ok, so share more about yourself with us. Are you from here originally? Don't limit yourself to just that question.

My younger brother who was also in the Marine Corp was stationed at kanbay, He spent three years of his enlistment going from hawaii to japan. If only I would have had my supra then.

It blows me away that you and I were in boot so close....., It was within 3 months I think. I didn't get to stay in they never would graduate me......, I served in boot camp for the year of my enlistment. I completed the crucible.

SP 7M
03-29-2006, 12:15 AM
If you don't mind sharing it with us, what weren't you allowed to graduate for?

Man, that year had do to be total hell! The 3 months that I was there was 3 months too long for me!

I was in bootcamp from Oct. 29, '01-Jan. 25th, '02.

we were at pendelton. we were hiking to the camp that went right from the barracks......, it went down hill just a bit and went up hill steep and the linw kept stoping so I stepped out and doubletimed it to the top of the hill. It was broken after that. I went on and icy hotted it and doubled socks so I could tie my boots tighter. I ground it out for two weeks. They found out and dropped me. I did do on the pft the run in under 19. I got dropped because one of the recruits kept f ucking up the count on my crunch counts and the D.I. just kept deducting. I know I did over 100 crunches that day. any how. the ankle is broken, the ship me to pcp because I failed during competition. THey semd me to medical and drop me to mrp. I live there for 7 months. Finally I get some one to look at my akle and i convonce them it has healed and i want to go back to trainning. so they send me. I was Lima co originally. I dropped in with the red squadron after that. The D.I>'s Never smoked me once, becaue I moved faster and sounded off more loud than any of the recruits.
W were on the crucible and I told a D.I. that his hat gaf'd me off about having tent stakes. Never got smoked. it's just a long fu cked up story and I'll type more later.

I am looking for a Supra MKIV mechanic in Hawaii (Oahu), I would like to get my car check for any trouble before I start spending mad loot on aftermarket parts.

SP 7M
04-24-2006, 02:45 AM
I wouldn't trust anybody out here besides a Toyota dealer to look at or work on your car. I've had good luck at the dealer in Kaneohe. Kawika is an excellent service rep. Good luck.

supramacist
04-24-2006, 12:38 PM
If you are indeed going to spend "mad loot" WTF, does it really matter what condition it's in? I mean obviously you want the best you can get to start with, but other than that? I mean if you have that kind of cash..., You would probably be wanting to edna swap, if not just have an engine built. But SP-7m, is a man to be trusted in the way of the supra, I would do what ever he said even if I had to fairy my ride to the next island.

SP 7M
04-25-2006, 12:17 AM
Of course it matters what condition his car is in, dude. If he's got a problem that he's unaware of and he goes and modifies the hell out of it then chances are greater that whatever the [then] minor problem could bite him in the ass seriously later.

IDNDWT-I would set up an appointment with Kawika (pronounced Kuh-vee-kuh) to have the whole car looked over. I'm sure that he'll know what you're talking about. Let him know that you've recently bought it (I'm guessing you did recently) and want to if there is any potential problem area that the tech may find.

What modifications are you looking into doing to it?

well..., I should get my ride back from the toyota dealer some time in the morrow. IF and that's a big IF. I full on expect For the dealer to give me a 2k$ list of shiat for them to do to make it more reliable. I am still thinking of going to the previous owners house and kicking the dog dick out of him. I was trying to take it to the dealer last night. I got a 1/4 of the way there and the clutch totally went out. Geeeeeeeeez, I have never seen so much smoke come out from under a car. I mean the clutch just said f uck you dude, I'm not going. 3rd gear, 3k rpm's, 20 mph....., down hill. It was rough. I was ULTRA HOT.
